2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run.
When a group of Navy Seals started an argument about who was the fittest athlete in 1978, Commander John Collins suggested that the best way to decide would be to combine the Waikiki Rough Water Swim, the Around Oahu Bike Race and the Honolulu Marathon ... whoever finished would be a real Ironman.

Hey! Glad to hear from another MCM'er! This will be my first marathon, looks like you've done a few!! Have you ever done MCM?
Great. Now I have Springsteen stuck in my head :) Let's keep our fingers crossed for a chilly morning!
So far training is going well! As far as injuries, knock on wood, nothing major. Just some horrible hip pain, but that seems to squared away, and I've got something going on with my right oblique (possibly a "tiny tear"...hurts to laugh, sneeze, twist), hoping that it will go away soon!
You mentioned the trail from Fairmont to Morgantown, that sounds like a great one! I'll have to check it out sometime!
